TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After having it?s two-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday, the Cyclones will look to get back on track tonight as they tussle with the Florida Everblades for the only time this season. Historically, the two teams have played very evenly - with Cincinnati holding an 8-7-0 record since 2006. The ?Blades, however, have had success at U.S. Bank Arena over the years, winning five of the meetings at 100 Broadway.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: King of Pop Night - The first 2,500 fans will receive a specially-themed bobblehead inspired by the King of Pop himself! Plus, all fans can enjoy $1 pop all night long!

SCOUTING THE EVERBLADES: Florida is the only team in the ECHL to trail their division with a winning record, sitting at 26-21-2-4. What?s more curious is that they are the second-best offensive team in the Eastern Conference with 181 goals scored in 2011-12. They are riding a three-game winning streak coming into the weekend with two of the victories coming in overtime. Florida has a pair of players averaging nearly a point per game; David Rutherford has amassed 43 points (18 goals, 25 assists) in 45 games while Matt Beca has 41 tallies (16 goals, 25 assists) in 43 contests. Scott Pitt, meanwhile, has been among league-leaders in scoring among first year players, notching 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 44 games - good for sixth on the ECHL?s rookie scoring list. Pat Nagle has been solid in net for the Everblades this year, going 17-12-0-3 with an ECHL 9th-best 2.86 goals against average.

About Wednesday Night vs. Gwinnett: Jonathan Parker scored twice while Goaltender Ryan Zapolski turned aside all 21 shots he faced as the Gladiators shutout the Cyclones by a 2-0 final score in front of 2,310 at U.S. Bank Arena. It was just the second time this season that Cincinnati was blanked.

Finishing Strong: Cincinnati has been able to find plenty of late offense this season. Their 57 third period goals are the seventh-most of any team in the ECHL. Not surprisingly, the Clones are 13-2-1-3 when leading after two periods of play.

A Time To Kill: Jarrod Skalde?s team has excelled in the penalty kill department this season. They have improved to the fourth-best unit in the ECHL, killing off 84.1% of their opponents power play chances (191-of-227).
