Lower Hutt police are hunting a man who has been stalking and chatting to young teens online.
The investigation to find the young man, who is believed to be using a fake Facebook account, and any alleged victims launched today.
Lower Hutt detective Kylee Cusin wouldn?t comment on the nature of the online communications but says it was ?inappropriate?.
"The suspect has created a fictitious presence under the false name of 'Nick Davis' for the purpose of facilitating these communications,? he says.
Anyone who has had any interaction with a Facebook user called ?Nick Davis? should contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
